Creating a virtual image

How do I create a virtual image so I can play BF2 without the DVD? I am doing some tests to see if I can get BF2 to perform with an FPS over 20, because I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my system right now, the performance is not what it should be and I want to check whether it's something to do with a corrupt DVD!

have you checked the mini-image sticky?

most people are mounting the mini-image using daemon-tools.
you might have to google bf2 mini-image to find it. DO NOT try and use a no-cd .exe crack.

Alright I've done it, didn't make any improvement to my performance but it's sure a better way than using the DVD :) Something gained from it then
