Just in case you haven't tracked it down already, pzittykitty1:
You can download the BF1942 theme from HERE (http://rapidshare.de/files/22674190/Battlefield_1942____Theme__.mp3.html)
Just click on the 'Free' button on that page, wait for the timer to elapse, type in the 3-digit code and then download the file.

And thanks John Paul for the BF 1942 theme, it rocks!!

You already have it, but I'm not home so I can't accurately tell you where it is.
Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\ ...etc... in one of the compressed client files under "sounds" then "menu". Sweet mix, eh? Listen for it in the upcoming C22 film.

The sounds folder is in one of the compressed client files. If nobody replies with specifics before I get home, I'll post better instructions.

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Common_client.zip
and then once unzipped
C:\unzipped\Common_client\Sound\Menu\music\load_US _music.ogg
search google for
.ogg to mp3
go to th first link and download/install
convert, and listen!

And there you go. You don't have to unzip the whole file. Simply browse and uncompress what you want. If you have Vegas, it recognizes the .ogg format, and you can simply render as .mp3.
