View Full Version : "Progress toward next Rank bar" is full after 50k

My "Progress toward next Rank bar" is full since I hit 50k and Seargent Major.
I am no at about 57K and it still show full.
I know about the First Seargent thing where you do not have enough awards to move up bug.

Is there another?

after you get a mster sargent for not being first you go to master gunny.

Not true. If you have the basic requirements then you can get SgtMaj.

billy1ear - You need 3,504 (http://www.bf2player.com/index.php?page=stats&account=29901436) more points to get promoted to 2ndLT. Dont worry about the rank status in the BFHQ. Use any of the stat sites as they are usually more accurate. Sometimes the BFHQ is screwie

If you did not have the needed basic badges prior to hitting 20K, then you were promoted to MSgt. You can not get 1stSgt after hitting 20k, you have to wait until your next rank up which is 50k. Here again, if you do not have the requirements for SgtMaj prior to hitting 50k, you will be promoted to MGySgt.

A good site for rank info is here (http://ubar.bf2s.com/ranks.php), but there are others also.

I am master sergeant and i got all the requirements plus i got 41k!!
Wtf it says u only need 20k and i got 41k. All the requirementsa long time ago
i am just trying to get to 50k and hope i just skip first sergeant and go straight to master gunnery sergeant!!

That happened to me, hit 50k and got SgtMaj. But when I hit 20k I did not have all the requirements, was missing pistol and knife. Posted at EA and they told me it was a bug and they weren't likely to address it and to get over it

Thanks for the info, guess I shouldn't worry about it either way, no life altering rewards for getting a rank bump in a game.

You still get the same amount of unlocks, so no problems really.
