can be done with the US mounted machine gun(which is the standard US m249 i think) on the hill in karkand to, i like to get the c4 guys who drop c4 in the opening then lay in the corner, strafe the bottom of the fence and every once in while you see the hit indicator then go to town,,,,or they run around the corner and try to hide behind the fence

I've done it with a MG36, in fact, all guns shoot though those fences probably. I mean they're like tin sheet fences, i would expet even a pistol to penetrate.

I've gotten a kill with a sniper rifle that way as well as through the wooden planks you seen at the Construction Site on Warlord and Karkand. All .50 cals also do the job.

And for tht reason I stay away from laying next to thin walls or fences.

yeah, i've dont that in karkand i allways make it a bit funnyer by shootin him once and then he's like argh, argh who's shootin me, than i kill him.

Why not zoom, zooming may not affect the deviation, but it does affect the recoil in a good way.

The PKM is also a god long range machine gun. I've taken out enemies (6 or 7) on Dalian Plant from the top of the ridge near the PLA uncappable to the construction site beyond. It's noisy but if you're far away they can't hear it, and just a few shots will take someody out. Short Range is no doubt more effective, but if you're sniper-challenged like me, you might want to try the PKM. my 2¢.

Fences are only good cover if you haven't been spotted. Once you've been seen, go find something solid to get behind.

I've knifed too many people caught with their legs clipping through a fence. So I now find myself crouching in a lot of spots I would previously go prone.

Heh, me too. After checking the weapon tables, I realized that the accuracy difference between crouch and prone isn't *that* severe, and you can recover from a crouch a lot faster.

Hmm, do all weapons shoot through fences? There's got to be some that don't. I wonder if there's a definitive list somewhere.
