Do not understand. Played BF2 last night perfectly fine. Besides the reg. CTD and lock ups I get. But Wanted to play tonight, Started my BF2. And get my hour glass icon like its processing. Then When the game is about to load you get that small pic. "BF2 logo with tank in the background" This time the pic, is all white and the game never starts. Double click my desktop icon, The pc is working opening the app. then it stops. Can't get it going. Tried re-booting my PC. Turned off the pc completely. Nothing worked. The only option is for me to uninstall and re-install. Do not want to do that since I JUST did that couple days ago, in hopes to fix the "connection to the server has been lost" issue. So just wondering how overnight, BF2 decided to NOT WORK!!!. Hope you all have some ideas how or what the heck is going on. Really do not feel like re-installing AGAIN.
