patch 1.3

I heard the only patch that you need is 1.3 is that true...I have no other patchs installed and my game crashes when I get into a server

Yes, the only one you need to be fully up to date is the 1.3 full version patch. Some people have had problems with crashing issues with 1.3, though, so you're probably one of them. Hopefully the hotfix will resolve those issues.

Make sure you use the full patch not the incremental and don't get the patch full or incremental from EA downloader. We had someone last night crash our server 3 times in a row whenever they joined. After the 3rd time they didn't rejoin and we actually got to play a few rounds.

Also don't click the join button to join a server. A lot of ppl CTD when they do this hit ESC instead.

Even after doing all this server crash like crazy with 1.3 so your in for a bumpy ride.

Or just go back to 1.22 like i did last night and all my troubles and frustration are all gone now, yay, my game works again, 1.3 sux bigtime and will never ever ever get installed on my machine again
If you need to use 1.3 try 1.22 then 1.3 incremental( i dont think this is the one that was crashing the servers ), because it used to work fine for me and rarely CTD, but i installed 1.3 full because co-op wasnt working, BIG MISTAKE.
Anyway 1.22 it is for me until this is sorted

im having problem with my bf2 first it wont start and had to uninstall it now that ive finally get it to run patch failed..y!!! patching failed after 8% loading..i guess imma dl new ne and try it if not imma go back to 1.22
