Has anyone else noticed this:
When i log out and log in again using the same profile in bf2 WITHOUT RESTARTING bf2, my video settings are messed up. Even though in the opts->video tab it shows my usual config of low/med and dyn shadows etc off, when i join a game the game is using (i think) the default settings of med/high and dynamics on, resulting in unplayable performance , and meaning i got to stop bf2 to fix it.
It doesn't change any settings but after logout/login it seems the game just cant use my correct video settings. What the fork is up with that, usual Dice quality or is sometign messed up in my end.
Modified keymaps , sound etc work as supposed, only i get the "too high" video settings.
