Ok I created a pretty cool ( with help from those here) infantry only map ( at least i think so)
I have run and tested it locally and now want to give it to my friends and put it on our server. I searched the forums on packaging but couldn't find anything on the proper steps to do so, can some one post a link or instructions please.

These are the steps i took:
Pack Map- Mod Manager, Pack Map, then go into the Map folder, and delete everything apart from the server.zip, client.zip, & 'info'

when my friends add this to the folder where maps are kept it doesnt not show up as a map to select in the map list.

Make sure that you dont have any spaces in the map folder name.
Plus compare your <YOURMAP>.desc file in the info folder with a desc file of a bf2 map.

Ok i figured it out... i had created my own folder and moved the files to it. BF2 only recognizes folders created by the Editor...so one has to go thru the process of packaging and deleting the uneeded files.

I never delete my files from a map I made, it makes it much easier to change things after testing if you have your original files. What I usually do is take the client.zip server.zip and info folders and put them into a rar or exe and name it the same as the folder where it needs to be installed. But I never get rid of my original files.
