I have been running BF2 perfectly with levels that I have created. I just installed Special Forces and did the 1.3 update and now I am getting this message:

Debug assertion failed!
Version: 1.1.2878-710.0 Build date: 2006-6-9 14:45
Module: Python
File: D:\DiceCanada\BoosterPack2\Code\BF2\Game\Python\Py thonHost.cpp
Line: 281
Text: bf2init_module failed: stderr: Traceback (most recent call last):
Stderr: File "python\bf2\_init_.py", line 75, in init_module
stderr: import game.scoringCommon
stderr: ImportError: No module named game.scoringCommon

I think I have had this problem before but I dont remember what I did to fix it, can anyone help me out? Its not finding the game.scoringCommon file, how do I fix this?

As for the Python error I had that once before when I tried the Alternate ranking system for Single-Player. Luckily I had backed up my Python folder before making any changes.

If you don't have BF2 backed up then you are probably going to have to reinstall BF2, SF, and the full 1.3 patch. Something may have gone wrong with the install of SF or the patch.

You could also try doing a System Restore first before reinstalling. Just backup your new maps.
