Reviving a medic in that manner means you are stuck as his kit for the duration of the life unless you communicate well and there is a third bag lying around.

I precisely do not revive medics because I want to stay my current kit.

It's good if you want points and if you want to win, but some people get real ****ed that their ultimate-point earner kit has been taken. They don't like being stuck with a PKM with full ammo, they'd rather have an AK47 and shock paddles.

I do this all the time, i'm usually a squad member, and th emedic is usually squad leader, so it's a pretty good thing to revive him.

DOn't you get it, you pick up the dead medics kit and you revive them, they no longer have the point whore class.

That is what I was talking about. Medics are always the ones on the top simply because they revive. They could have like 5 kills but 90 points. I would rather have it be 5 kills with 20 deaths and 90 points then 5 kills with 2 deaths and 90 points.

uhh yeah but thats 18 more tickets gone from your team, that can make a difference late in the game. Plus you'll be the medic and get all the points, and if you dont want them to get all the points then you start as a medic.

Even though diddnt unlock the medic weps so i dont use medics i use assualt cus of the G3...but still if i find a dead medic ill revive him.

So, take away their point whoring class and get extra points, later they will get killed, and you can then revive him to annoy him so he don't get point whoring class, or just leave him for dead to get a death for him. Either way it annoys him.

I would rather have him die knowing that I could of taken his kit and revived him. Makes them more angry.

When I kill an enemy medic that I know, I often take his kit and toss a health bag on him to say hello. "Need first aid? First Aid Here!" Then grab my own kit and get back to the game. It's my way of saying I care :). But I wouldn't do that to my own medic ;)

While in squad or team play, I do revive my own medic and take his position in the team. While alive, leaving and joining a squad is still a good way to shuffle SL position and if you are good with all of the kits, a team of three to five is hard to beat if most of the other side are lone wolfing it.

Why does everyone seem to hate medics when you get a good one they are great for helping your team win.

I pick up and revive, chances are you will have more chances of dyeing if he's/she's dead rather than you both be alive.

And, no, if you said you wanted to stay your own class, your a jackass. Apparently now on this forum if you have 1,000+ posts its like your a god. Well your not, ive have been playing bf2 for almost a year now and its still like this.

I'd revive a guy if he's a medic, screw him if he hates the kit I did have, or I may have been a medic myself. That guy could be the one saving your *** little bit later, or he could be the one to leave your *** behind lif you go down lol.

I always revive a medic if I can. I like to think of this game as a team orientated game not a "I prefer my sniper kit" kinda game. As Long As I can help keep the forces at their greatest I will do my part to make it happen. We were at a flag yesterday and we had about 10 guys of ours rushing on all sides but the other team was holding their flag strong. Our medic kept the fight up because he made sure everyone stayed alive. When he died I assumed his role until we finally took the flag.

Stop putting down medics.
I barely ever play this class but I love having them around me. So many times have they given me the possibility to take that second shot at a tank when I was the only AT around fighting the Armor batallion raping the hotel. But having 20 medics as a backup makes you very confident when going into battle

I do it only when i acknoledge that my squad is playing together, not the average joe who just is a squad leader to rack up hours.

However if i am playing with a lone wolf and happen to support each other I would revive him when he goes down.

In a squad, or with some guys, always take kit and revive, unless in a fire fight, besides, I am getting better at the kit and the unlock weapon is rocks.

It's good tactical practice to revive your medic.Medics and supports are essential to a squad that's working to win."Locking"yourself into a specific kit is detramental to teamwork. If your not for the team then your against it and we don't need you anyway.

I always try to revive medics if I'm close enough to switch. I have unfortunately NEVER met a medic who wanted to swap back though, which is a bit annoying.

Teamwork FIRST, points SECOND.

To switch back you kill someone then you pick up his kit, Your say medic kit will go on the ground and your teammate will pick it up, Then your teammates support kit will be on the ground and you pick it up. Simple

This thread points out what is great about BF2 (team work-working together in a squad and dominating the battlefield) and what isn't (players only in the game for themselves and their score).

I'll walk past a dead medic sometimes but not always. I don't mind being medic so I'll switch and save you, but if my current kit is very valuable in the local fire fight then I won't revive. Say I'm AT and you got killed by armor. Or I'm sniper and need to counter snipe just then. It all depends on the bigger picture of whats going on at the time.

For those who wont revive the medic thats why they dont revive you when you are laying in the street dieing because they know you only care about yourselves. I dont revive non squad members either. Squad up and playthe team game like every one else

If random people running around like idiots trying to get points, and only worrying about themselves, contiuously forgetting what kit they are playing, and just shooting, or trying to shoot people, instead of helping teammates, or paying attention to a flag that just went neutral, is what you're looking for.....Play Ranked Servers.

If you want to actually be the slightest bit strategic, have someone watching your back that you can communicate with, someone who knows WHAT IS NEEDED AT WHAT TIME, join a clan.

Or if you really just don't care, then go run around and die alot, and put up with the 1 out of 20 people that actually throw you that extra ammo, or health, the vehicle stealers, the teamkillers, and so on.......Play THIS Game.

I thought mods would be different, but they seem to attract the same assholes, as with any online game.

Hopefully 2142 will actually force people to use teamwork like intended.

(Sorry for the run on sentences.)

ok lets say you killed an assault guy the support will pick up the assualt kit leaving his support kit on the ground. the medic would pick up the support kit and drop his medic kit on the ground the guy who just got the assualt kit would then pick up the medic kit.

make sense?

Enough of the sqabbling!!!! This whole game is suppose to revolve around the squad and teamwork. As the old saying goes "There is no me in team"!!! The game is to win the war not bicker over who getst stuck with what kit or who gets more points. Work as a team and win as a team! If you dont want to revive me when I play a medic then that is okay but we both loose, because I cant help you the next time you die, and the team loses tickets. Also if you are playing to advance in rank, then you need 100hrs in ever class anyway so playing a medic for a while wont hurt your game! Besides you say medics get the most points, so are you telling us that you do not like to earn points???

Just do your whole team a favor pick up the med kit and revive the medic and anyone else near by for that matter!

If a medic goes down in a spot that’s under heavy fire or not well covered I will not risk having us both end up dead... Same goes when I’m a medic and someone else goes down under the same circumstances. The whole Point of being a medic is to help slow your teams loss of tickets, going kamikaze to ATTEMPT a revival only does the opposite because now there’s 2 tickets gone when it would have only been one.

Some people b**ch at me for not being a “team player” because I won’t risk everything to save them… I say they aren’t being a team player because they’re the ones that ran out ahead of the group trying to play Rambo, got themselves killed and then get all butt hurt when the medic is busy handing out med packs and providing what cover they can from the back rather than catering to their sorry a**. If you want the benefits of being in a squad, then you need to actually work with the squad!

I tend not to hold grudges against my teammates unless they teamkill for vehicles, take a transport without waiting for other ppl to hop in, or let ppl cap flags so they can re-take it after the guy leaves. Other than that… if someone can’t revive me I figure he just can’t get to me, no sense in b***ching him out, and if he goes down I’ll do my best to help him get back into the fight.

i would pass over his dead body not bothering to wonder if he was a medic by looking at his bag while somebody (the same sombody who killed medic) kills me so then then another medic has to revive us both!
