View Full Version : change Predator Damage

Hey guys,

I've just joined the board looking for a way to modify the damage dealt by the USATP predator. Myself and some friends play a mish-mash of the Hard Justice and the Mercs mod and we've managed to end up with a totally ineffective Antitank guy. It takes up to 9 rockets to bring down enemy armour now whereas it only takes 2 or 3 under-carriage grenades from the assault dude.

I've had a good long hunt around the tweak files and stuff but I just can't seem to find how to make it more effective. I'm sure it's probably somewhere under the missiles section but nothing I do seems to work.

Can someone help us out?
Sorry if this has already been answered, I did have a good long search.

You have to edit:

Objects_server.zip\Weapons\Armament\Missiles\at_pr edator\at_predator.tweak

and change ObjectTemplate.damage 500 to ObjectTemplate.damage 1500 or more.

ok cool, thanks dude. I think along the way I did make a change to that but maybe I didn't change it enough or somehow didn't save it back into the zip.

The file is marked read only by default.
WinRar will ask where to save the modifed .tweak. Save it to "My Documents". Drag the newly saved file from "My Documents" to WinRar and you are good to go.
