help needed with rivers and streams,

Ok i was going to release my map but a friend here chuckled a few more days turns into a few more weeks..LoL he was right...
anyways my clan beta tested my map and said that one of the gullies would make a cool stream and they are right... I read alot of forums on water and actually made water work in the pool and was semi succesful inserting water files from the vanilla maps but when i go to use them it like places the water where it wants..not me...

how can i fill the gully with a stream of water?

If you have water in different heights (above sea water level) you need to use the water planes. Then you have to use waterfalls between the heights of waterplanes. Waterplanes can not be tilted, the game will crash, so it is a real pain to make rivers. Not impossible though, I made myself a nice little river by using different waterplanes and waterfalls.
