Squad join/create broken

I've been having trouble with squad functions, when i press caps then i try to join an open(unlocked, not full) squad nothing happens, in fact, join NEVER works for me. Sometimes I beg people for invites, which rarely come.

Also when i push create squad or custom, similarly nothing happens. I've look this up at support.ea.com but nothing. This is really annoying considering squads are like 50% of the game.

its a new bug that 1.3 created, i cannot join squads or create one about 75% of the time. hopefully the next "great" patch will fix this.:rolleyes:

Hey mate,

They made a gameplay change to prevent squad hopping. You can no longer join or create a squad when you're dead, only when you're alive. When you do join one, you can't spawn on the leader until you die once more.

Also on occasion, you will find yourself in the same squad you were in from the previous round, but even with no other people in the squad, you will still be listed as a squad member, and cannot leave the squad for the round. Pretty sucky.
