need some help plz

hy peeps i need some serious help ive just downloaded teh bf2 demo so i can try it out with some frends.... but when i start the game i get the loading screen but then my screen gets black but the music keeps playing on...
and i get and an vpu recover error so my screen goes to 800x600 and my pc is very slow until i restart any1 a idea?
