i have read the thread that is in the top in the sticky threads and the thread starter said:

Servers that run Linux, or Linux 64 bit operating systems don’t have the capability to verify client data, while servers that run Windows OS do. Check the icon second from the left in the server browser:

Penguin Icon:
Server is running Linux. No verification process.

64 Icon:
Server is running Linux 64 bit OS. No verification process.

Bar icon:
Server is running Windows OS. Server will run the verification process.

i always go to the server that run linux or linux 64 bit but the verifying client thing still run!
why??

There is verification process on all servers, doenst matter which OS they run. The one and only thing that turns OFF verifiying is Punkbuster. So, there is no verification process on PB disabled servers, btw which they suck, couse there is no control of cheaters...

Only the servers with the green monitor has verifying enabled.
The linux servers dont come with it enabled, that is something the server providers have to enable.
All win server's have it enabled.
Hope this answers your question!?

yes thanks. but cant just dice and ea remove the verify thing or update it so it goes faster, for me the verifying client data takes me like 2x the time that load the map.
