Audio question

Since I began video creations, I just discovered some very nice audio file perfect for background music during videos. But those files are MIDI files, and since I have ZERO knowledge about MIDIs, Im wondering if it's possible to convert MIDI to MP3 by PRESERVING the quality.

If I can, is there a free software that I can use to do it, because I wont spend money to convert 5 files

Is recommended not to use MIDI, coz the quality sux. And also when you convert MIDI to mp3, the quality would still be the same.

I HAVE to convert because I CANT import MIDI files in Vegas. But how do you convert midi to mp3 ? All software I tried only let me record 60 sec and still, it doesnt work
