im looking to get a laptop for gaming
-the alienware that i want built comes to about $3280 w/3yr warranty which alienware will replace with new upgraded parts if they do not make the older parts
it has 17" widescreen
2 geforce go 7900GS 256 mb cards(SLi)
amd turion m40processor
2 gigs ram
g5 mouse
dvd burner
windows xp media center
2x80gig sata 7200rpm drive(160 gig in raid-0)

and theother is a mtech ($3305)which has

19" widescreen
AMD turion ml44 processor
2 gigsram
2 512mb geforce go 7900 GTX(SLi)
80gig sata 7200rpm HD
no operating system
1yrwarranty
carry case
built in webcam
3yr warranty add 325 to theprice which is only a mail in warranty

i kno what sounds better...but ive never heard of Mtech before

has anyone dealt with either company before..and would there be any major difference in these laptops?

Well, suffice it to say that both of them would play Bf2 on just about any settings you want at a high resolution. Mtech sounds vaguely familiar to me, I believe it should be fine.

the mtech sounds better to me...but the support LOOKS better (looks as in site design and support options on website) and the mtech site is very basic but i have heard good things about mtech...but u think a 19" laptop would be outrageously big?

but have you heard of mtech? id like to get something id know i could get good support..and alienware support was ranked above everyone in terms of laptop customer service(saw it in a mag haha) but will the 7900 GS's be as good if not better then 2 7800GTs?cause ive actually configured the alienware to what i want and itll only be $2838

anything but alienware....its retarded waiste so much money on those things.

Obviously any1 expect best suppport for rig that is at least 2500$....if u can build yourself...or even get pre build from couple other places u would find out that 2500$ u can get even better rig
