V1.1 problems

I recently had to upgrade BF2 to 1.1 as I installed Special Forces, now neither of the programs work, i load them up and a black screen appears and the program closes itself. Please help as I was very excited about the Special Forces expansion and I can't be assed to uninstall and re-install it all again. Here is my Hardware info if that helps

Windows XP Service Pack 2
ATi Radeon 9200 128mb with new drivers
Realtek Audio version unknown
512mb DDR Ram
2.8ghz CPU Pentium 4

They meet the system requirements right?

hmm well the latest patch is 1.3

dont think that graphics card is quite good enough & atleast 1gb ram is needed

But BF2 worked perfectly before when it was v1.0

I believe the 9200 had some problems with SF. I think patch 1.21 was supposed to fix something related to new shaders added by SF that didn't work right on a 9200. Try searching on radeon 9200 and try patch 1.22 or 1.3 (patch 1.2 apparently caused even more problems for low-end Radeons so don't bother with that one).
