Sorry this is more of a complaint than feedback. Why are threads being closed with out the OP given any explanation. I had this thread closed: http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87348

and I didnt even see a mod in the thread or no mod posted why. I see nothing wrong with the topic nor was it breaking any rules. I realize this is a private forum and I can go post elsewhere but come on mods......I really enjoy this site and I really would hate to jump ship to a different forum and I think alot people would do the same if this stuff keeps happening. I mean for petes sake at least tell me what is wrong with it so I know not to post again.

Seems to me that I was accused of whining in the thread and I did nothing of the sort. Just because people disagree with what I had to say or suggest doesnt mean the thread should be closed.

Probably because that type of thread always turns into a flame/spam war (as seen by the last post) and its been discussed about 200 times.

Indeed. Its just asking for an arguement. I click on the "new posts" button in the morning, and there is literally at least 13 pages of posts, and at least 10-25% of all of them are complaints about how hard it is to do something, and their reasoning why this game should be altered to suit their liking. Id lock all of them if I could.

I've re-opened it for now, but as others have said, lets hope it doesn't turn sour.

(And no I wasn't the one to close it in the first place).

Why was my thread closed. I posted something that was "old" Just because the mod has seen it doesnt make it old.

Wow, i am starting to think N2K is not a very good mod, seeing that and some other stuff he has done. It was fine without him modding and it should be that way.

Well, I certainly didnt' close either of those.

I MOVED the APC song thread to the media forum in the first place...but that's it.

i thought closed threads land in the vault.....



some guy created a thread today that should be there, but its vanished.....i assume it was deleted...prolly better off that way, but i still would like to some more action up in the vault if possible :D

There was nothing wrong with it, therefore, no reaon to close it. If someone started flaming, then close it.

yeah. way to many threads getting closed. mostly by handed out moderaters the site is like treated as a bf2 server. one thing. i made a thread yesterday about how peeps blame EA not dice since dice made the game. without any flaming started and 3 posts in ssg closed it. like... wtf. that is the most retarded thing ever i hate it-sick of it-stop it unless its posted like a trillion times or flaming but no flaming started in my thread and i guess he can TELL THe FUTURE of whats gunna happen- judge it by looks-not by the future

Yes I ahve also noticed this, one today for example made by lil_jimmy_norton, as far as I can see it breaches no forum rules. It merely questions the conduct of MYIS employee. I took the liberty of taking a screenshot of the thread as I presumed it would be deleted.

Whats with the censorship when it comes down to the incident with FG gaming? I get the impression mods/admins are deleting these posts in an effort to erase the incident from the TBF2 community.
