TF2 Halloween Special

I can imagine a santa hat for christmas.

And I've earned my ghastly gibus hat.

bunny ears for easter, a cupid arrow through your head for valentine's day, etc.

i just hope next time the event map is a bit more tweaked, it seemed to be plagued with lag spikes, although maybe my pc is starting to show its age as well.

It runs good for me, with the occasional low fps (like around 40) but that's when there's 15 people on each team.

I love the map, I hope it stays after Halloween

that's about that i've been getting too, but i can think of about two occasions where the round ended and then restarted and it dropped me down to about 10 fps until i restarted the game and rejoined

i don't know, i had alot of fun with it though

I played on a server that would reload the map after every round and at the beginning of every round, my FPS would be down to 10 or so. Then, after about a minute later, my FPS went back up to normal. I didn't have to restart the game or anything.

This seems to be a problem for most people when the server loads the map again. But if you play on a server with unlimited rounds, you won't have the problem.

Exactly if every FPS had these special yearly events it would make it seem so much more festive therefore making it new and refreshing every year. (FPS's could learn alot from MMO'S)

they released a patch that supposedly fixed that issue so hopefully when/if they do this again it won't be a problem
