    Im not sure if you are joking?,but what made BF sell and epic is that it wasnt COD.Limitations basically suk

    example:COD are only looking into vehicles just recently,Map sizes

    It might be a good arena game but people want the full battlfield experience

    I think everyone should try it out before judging too much. I hope for the beta, DICE would test this, Prone/No Prone. I hope I get into the PC beta!

    The tank combat in this game looks very unrealistic, if you have played a game like Red Orchestra you will understand why. One of the major problems the way the tank takes damage, for example the Armour on the front is always the strongest with the back usually being the weakest. In this game like the last BF2 it looks like 2 hits with a Anti tank weapon and its gone, it doesn't matter where you hit it, it will always be 2 hits. When really, it should be destroyed in 2 hits only if you hit it on the same side 2 times. It should take even 3 hits to destroy it most of the time if they really wanna make it realistic. Tanks are not weak.

    This is an arcade game not a simulator, however if they do take the same damage system used in BF2142 it will as you say be "more realistic".

    If you played Red Orchestra you would understand that they are not the same game. RO also throws in angle,speed etc into penetration.

    'Tanks are not weak', Well, they kinda are. Tracks, engine, turret ring, all vulnerable parts. Also I think nearly all of the tank health comes down to game balance, god help us If people think it is actually a good idea to put realistic damage/armour into games.

    Personally, people who always say 'this game sucks because x is not realistic' when hardly ever the sake of gameplay is taken into account, really annoys me.

    If you want a realistic tank penetration, i want a chally 2 added, They are practically invulnerable to RPG's In one case over 70 hits from RPG's and a hit from a carl Gustav and it was still functioning, It would only be vulnerable to Top attack, heli's and other tanks, so it would RAPE!

    .. But its never really been tested against other modern MBT's so Dont have any illusions that its invulnerable until its put to the real test

    Also depends on the RPG warhead.
