Left 4 Dead 2 Update Released

A new update for Left 4 Dead 2 has been released. The major changes include:

- Fixed performance problem when rendering lots of decals, notably when fighting tanks with shotguns
- Fixed rcon response not working on Linux dedicated servers
- Fixed matchmaking problem matching into Advanced and Expert games
- Fix bug that would cause other specials to try to pummel a player a Charger disconnects or reconnects
- Fixed versus mode results panel being cut off in transition stats screen in non-english
- Found games: fixed non-player entries drawing the wrong type of icon in the selected item name label
- Game mode selector on main menu now takes keyboard input

The update will automatically download the next time you start up Steam.

Still not fixed lost stats issue. Lots of people are reporting having lost/reset stats including me!

Same here. I'm just glad they fixed the tank stuttering problem, that was really frustrating me.

Yeah I lost a few stats. Haven't got my achievement for finishing a campaign despite finishing it.

just had to go check, and yep, i've lost everyone of my achievements....lovely. My weapon stats are screwed up, I think it has my total kills right, very odd. I know TF2 had problems like this before.....very strange.
