DICE, Electronic Arts, Nvidia, and MyInternetServices.com are proud to present the Battle for PAX! This unique single elimination online qualifying tournament presents gamers with the exciting opportunity to compete in the first official tournament for the highly anticipated PC release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Hundreds of teams will be battling for the final four positions, and those lucky four who make it will receive up to $2,500 per team in travel reimbursement and free 3-day passes to PAX in order to compete live in Boston Massachusetts. Once there, the four talented teams will carry over their one through four seeding as established in this online qualifier, as they go on to battle for $17,500 in cash prizing at the PAX East BYOC Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Tournament.

As if that weren't enough, the live tournament at PAX East will also be the first ever all 3D tournament, using high tech Nvidia hardware to enhance the competitor's gaming experience. The first place team at the PAX East BYOC Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Tournament will receive $10,000, with second place earning $5,000, and third place coming in with $2,500. Finally, we'll also be distributing random prizing and sponsor swag at the conclusion of the online event, so even if you're not on the most talented team, you still have a chance to win. Good luck to all competitors, and may the best teams win!
